Conferences, Assemblies, Statements

For major events like conferences, annual general meetings, speeches with debates it is advisable to use Simultaneous Interpreting.

Simultaneous Interpreting

For Simultaneous Interpreting the Interpreters are placed in soundproof booths and use technical sound equipment. The deliberation of the speaker is transmitted to the Interpreter's earphones. With a minimal time lag, which the Interpreter needs to seize the thoughts of the speaker, the translation will be transmitted via microphone to the earphones of the audience.

It is prerequisite that the Interpreter is permanently focused on his task. At least two Interpreters are assigned to each booth. Thus they can support each other and take turns. The quantity of Interpreters and booths required, depends on the number of languages used in the event.
